Creating a VidDay video is simple! Start by answering a few quick questions:
- What’s the occasion?
- Who’s it for?
This sets up your Event Page, where all submitted videos and photos will be collected. Only you, as the video creator, can access this page.

The magic of VidDay comes from bringing together video messages and cherished photos from friends and family. So, let’s start inviting them!
Inviting People to Submit
- Go to your Event Page and click on Invitation.
- Customize your private submission page.
- At the top of the page, toggle to Invite Options to share your unique invite link (it will look like this:
share.vidday.com/b-123abc).
📲 How to Share: Send your invite link via text, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, or any other messaging app.
🔒 Privacy Note: Invitees can only upload their media—they won’t be able to see anyone else’s submissions.
As people submit their videos and photos, you’ll see them appear on your Event Page when logged into your VidDay account.

Customizing Your Video
Once submissions start rolling in, you can:
✔ Edit media by double-clicking on a submission.
✔ Rearrange clips by clicking and dragging them into your preferred order.
✔ Add personal touches with written messages throughout the video.
✔ Choose a theme and background music to match the recipient’s style.
Want to see a preview before finalizing?
- Click Make a Preview to generate a draft version.
- Previews typically take 5–30 minutes, and you’ll get an email when it’s ready.
Finalizing the Video
When you're happy with your video:
- Click Finalize, then Checkout & Finalize to complete your payment.
- Sit back while VidDay creates your video!
📅 Processing Time: The finalization time depends on the video length. Once it’s ready, you’ll receive an email, and the completed video will appear on your Event Page.
Sharing the Video
Once your video is ready, you can share it easily! Click here for a full guide on sharing options.
