Help CenterThe base fee for an eGift Card transaction is $1.99, plus a 3% administration fee. The 3% is calculated based on the contribution amount.
For example, if you were to contribute $50.00, the breakdown would be as follows:
($50.00 * 1.03) + $1.99 = $53.49
- Contribution: $50.00
- Admin fee: $1.50
- Base fee: $1.99
- Total: $53.49
Our fees are meant to cover the costs we incur when processing these transactions. We're always looking into ways to reduce them. That being said due to the flat $1.99 fee the smaller the contribution the larger the total fee percentage. A $10.00 contribution incurs a fee of $2.29 , compare that to the $3.49 in fees for a $50.00 contribution.
Note: We never charge any fees to the recipient of the gift card. They claim the entire $ amount shown on the Gift Card page.
