When you upload video clips to your VidDay video, some clips might not have any audio, such as boomerang videos from Instagram, GIFs, or other silent clips.
By default, VidDay’s background music fades slightly when a video clip is played to give the clip's audio focus. However, if the clip is silent, you can mute it to ensure the background music keeps playing smoothly without lowering.
Follow these simple steps to mute video clip audio:
-
Select the video clip you want to adjust in the media editor.
-
Find the 'Audio' toggle button for the video clip. This control lets you keep the clip's audio on or turn it off.
-
Toggle the button to:
- Audio On: If the video clip has important audio you want to play.
- Audio Off: If the video clip is silent (e.g., boomerang or GIF), the background music continues playing without fading.
Why Use This Feature?
This is particularly helpful for:
- Silent video clips: Where no audio is needed, allowing the background music to keep playing without fading.
- Boisterous clips: You might want to focus only on the music instead of any audio from the clip.
With this feature, your VidDay video will maintain consistent sound quality, ensuring your background music enhances the overall experience.
