How to Control Background Music for Specific Media

When creating your VidDay video, you may have media (video, photo, or audio) with its own sound that plays while it’s shown. If you don't want this sound to clash with the background music of your video montage, you can easily toggle whether the background music plays or mutes while the media is displayed.

Follow these simple steps to manage background music for individual pieces of media:

  1. Select the piece of media you want to adjust (video clip, photo, or audio file) in the media editor.

  2. Find the 'Background Music' toggle button. You will see an option to control whether the background music plays or mutes while this media is shown.

  3. Toggle the button to:

    • Background Music On: The video montage's background music will continue playing.
    • Background Music Off: The background music will be muted while this media is shown.

Why Use This Feature?

This toggle is convenient for video clips that already have audio, such as:

  • A recorded message or a video clip with music.
  • Any media where you want the original sound to be heard clearly without interference.

By using this feature, you can ensure your VidDay video has smooth, clear audio that enhances the experience for your recipient.
