How do I get started?
How to get started in 5 easy steps.
Click on Create a Video Gift on our homepage or click here to get started. Then, follow the instructions on that page to create an event and register an account.
We will send an email to you after you register. Once you receive the email, you can activate your account by clicking on the Activate Account button.
After activating your account, you arrive at your Event Page. The event page contains everything you need to create your event, send out invitations and receive/organize media.
You'll find great themes and background music below the Video Theme and Background Music buttons. Select the one that works best for you.
You can always change them before finalizing your video gift.
The Invitation button allows you to add a cover photo, change the name, custom invitation message, and date by which you would like to receive media.
You can preview the invite by clicking on Preview invite. Then, to share it, click to copy the share.vidday.com/... link at the top or use one of the sharing methods below.
You can also make use of the Invite List.
When contributors submit media, they get a confirmation page, and their uploaded media instantly appears on the media gallery.
You'll also get email notifications for new submissions.
