Yes, VidDay’s built-in video editor gives you full control over your clips.

Whether you're trimming out the fluff, adjusting the tone, or adding a stylish touch, it’s all just a few clicks away.

Here’s how to make your video clips look and feel just right:

How to Open the Editor

Double-click any video thumbnail in your timeline. This opens a full preview of the clip.

Below the video, you’ll see several options:

Edit Video – to open the video editor
Clip Audio – toggle the clip’s recorded sound on or off
Background Music – toggle whether the background music plays during this clip

Click Edit Video to open the full editor.

Once inside the editor, you’ll see four editing sections:

Use this section to adjust the start and end of your clip.

Drag the handles on the timeline to trim out the beginning or ending of the clip.
Use the Split icon (only available in this section) to divide the clip into multiple parts.
After splitting, make your trims, and then click Merge to bring them back together — cleaned up just how you want them.

This is where you adjust the frame and orientation:

Perfect for reframing or correcting how a clip was shot.

Make your video look polished and balanced. Adjust:

Slide gently to enhance; reset anytime if you want to start fresh.

Give your clip a look or mood that matches the moment.

Choose from a variety of visual filters like:

Preview filters in real time and choose the one that fits your vibe.

When you're happy with the result, click Done in the top right corner.
