What gift card fees do you charge?The base fee for an eGift Card transaction is $1.99, plus a 3% administration fee. The 3% is calculated based on the contribution amount. For example, if you were to contribute $50.00, the breakdown would be as follows: ($50.00 * 1.03) + $1.99 = $53.49 Contribution: $50.00 Admin fee: $1.50 Base fee: $1.99 Total: $53.49 Our fees are meant to cover the costs we incur when processing these transactions.

Why are the donation amounts displayed in USD?For the time being, the collected amount is displayed in USD, regardless of your payment method. Conversion will occur if the recipient redeems the collected amount towards a non-USD denominated gift card. The gift card will be given in the appropriate currency. How will this show up on my card?Although this may vary depending on your credit card/bank. The charge will appear similar to VIDDAY* + Name of the recipient. Does the entire amount get applied to the gift card?The entire amount selected will be added to the collection pot and redeemed by the recipient for a gift card. For example, if you donate $10.00, the total $10.00 will be added to the collection pot. But, you will need to pay administrative fees on top of the contribution amount. How do I contribute money?You will see a collection page after uploading media to the event. Select the amount you wish to donate and make the payment. A receipt will be emailed as confirmation. Suppose you want to contribute money later or forgot to contribute after uploading media. In that case, you'll find a button called Contribute Money in the confirmation email sent after uploading media. How do gift card contributions work?The event creator sets up a collection pot to collect money that the recipient will redeem as a digital Gift Card, prepaid Visa, or charitable donation of their choice. Contributing is optional. The contributions are delivered with the video gift. Then, the recipient follows simple instructions to claim their gift.
