You can invite contributors to your VidDay video using:

• Smart Invites (email or SMS, with reminders)

• Invite Link (for messaging apps and digital invites)

• RSVP Tracking (to see who plans to participate)

• Invite List (to monitor submissions and follow up)

Step-by-Step: How to Invite People to Join Your VidDay Video

1. Open the Invitation Section

From your event page, click the Send Invites card.

This brings you to the Invitation page. From here, click the Invite Options tab to access all your sending ooptions and tools.

Smart Invites: The Simplest Way to Invite & Track

Smart Invites are VidDay’s built-in system for sending invitations directly by email or text — and tracking responses.

It automatically:

• Sends reminders to people who haven’t submitted yet

• Tracks submissions for you in your Invite List

You have three options for adding people:

2.1 Connect Your Address Book

• Link your Google, Outlook, or Android contacts.

• Choose who you want to invite.

• Send invitations by email, text, or both.

Great for reusing your contact list with no copy-paste needed.

2.2 Use Single Send

• Manually enter names, emails, or phone numbers one by one.

If you’d prefer to invite people using your own tools — like WhatsApp, Messenger, group chats, or e-vites — VidDay provides a unique Invite Link just for your event.

• Post it to a private group or event page

VidDay even generates a pre-written message with your link included, so it’s easy to copy and send.

RSVPs: Know Who’s Joining In

When someone clicks your invite link, they’ll see a simple RSVP option.
