How Does the Gifting Feature Work?

VidDay’s Group Gifting feature lets you collect funds as part of your video gift. These contributions can be redeemed by the recipient for a gift card, a prepaid Visa, or a donation to charity — depending on what’s available in their country.

Getting Started

After creating your VidDay video:

1. Go to your Event Page and click the Gift Funds card.

2. From there, you can:

   • Contribute funds yourself

   • Turn on Group Gifting to let friends and family chip in, too

You can do one or both — it’s completely up to you.

Sending the Gift

Once your video is finalized, you’ll see the option to Send to Recipient. This generates a private link to their gift page, which you can share directly with them.

On their gift page, the recipient can:

• Watch their VidDay video

• Click “Redeem”

• Enter their email to begin the redemption process

• Choose their gift through our partner, Tremendous

Gift Redemption Options

The recipient can select from:

• A wide variety of gift cards

• A prepaid Visa

• A charitable donation
