How to Enable Group Gifting and Tree Planting

Make your VidDay more impactful by enabling optional gifting features. Follow this simple guide to activate Group Gifting and Tree Planting.

Step-by-Step: Activating Group Gifting

1. Navigate to Gift Funds

• Visit your Event Page on VidDay.

• Select the Gift Funds card.

2. Turn On Group Gifting

• Switch the Group Gifting toggle to ON.

• Guests can now contribute funds alongside their video and photo submissions.

Group Gifting Explained:

• Contributions are pooled together into one gift.

• You and the recipient will see a clear list of contributors.

Redeeming Gift Funds: The recipient has three ways to use their gift funds:

• Choose a preferred gift card.

• Select a prepaid Visa.

• Donate the funds to a charity they support.

Step-by-Step: Activating Group Tree Planting

1. Access the Gift Funds Section

• From your Event Page, click the Gift Funds card.

2. Enable Group Tree Planting

• Set the Group Planting toggle to ON.

• Invitees will have the option to plant trees.

Group Tree Planting Explained:

• Contributors select the number of trees to plant.

• Names and tree contributions are clearly listed.

• The recipient sees the positive environmental impact.

How Recipients View Their Gifts

When watching their VidDay video, recipients can view:

• Contributors and total gifted funds.

• Details about contributors who planted trees.
